It’s weird going back to work after a midweek day off. It feels like a Monday for some reason.
Transformers was a good flick. Sure, it had its cheesy one liners near the end of the movie that made me chuckle, but for the most part, it was a well put together action movie. Anyone who disagrees went in expecting too much from a summer blockbuster. This formula works, obviously, as shown by its opening numbers.
We have some idiots that live in the next building over in our condo-plex. I know it was the 4th of July and all, but it does not justify making all kinds of noise at 3am nor does it justify shooting fireworks until 5am. Shooting fireworks within the Austin city limits is illegal, mind you. Their neighbors are all kinds of pissed and it won’t surprise me if these kids are banished soon–hopefully they’re renters.
